I am relieved to say that at least the days are also twenty-four bells. There are still twelve moons in a year, though the moons are named strangely. We are currently in the Fourth Astral Sun but it is called 'July'.

Also should you agree, you shall be my companion to a nameday party. There will be many sweets to try. The date is currently pending.

I am not sure of the answers for either of those questions. However, my guesses would be the months are named after people of import and that there is no dress code. The impression I had was that it is a casual sort of nameday party.

The fashion here is quite different, isn't it? If you have need of any alterations my weaving skill should be sufficient enough.

I shall hope for casual, then, considering that is likely how I'd describe the majority of my new clothing.

I think it will suffice for now. And I have my armor should need for any combat arise.

The clothing here is quite impractical for a gladiator, true. It will be odd seeing you without your armour or noble attire.

If any fighting should begin while you are not in armour, I will provide sufficient cover for you as need be.

I still find it a little strange myself. I also may need your help tailoring some of these outfits as I don't think they were quite made with someone of my stature in mind.

My friend Rose instructed me on their use. There are other kinds of 'emoji' that are called 'kaomoji' but they are more difficult to construct. I am still learning. 😞
